Built on the the solid foundation of the 1st and 2rd generation Ultrashape, which were the earliest scientifically and clinically proven non-invasive fat reduction treatment, this 3rd generation Ultrashape is packed with technological breakthroughs that will revolutionize Non-invasive Body Contouring.
Ultrasound waves when focused at a point within the adipose tissues mechanically destroy the fat cells without any damage to surrounding tissues like skin, blood vessels, muscles or nerves. The destroyed fat cells release its contents which are then safely transported to the liver to be metabolised.
Vertical Dynamic Focus
The 3rd generation Ultrashape does this better and more efficiently because it focuses the ultrasound waves at variable depths. Called Vertical Dynamic Focus, or VDF, this new feature in the 3rd generation Ultrashape allows a larger volume of adipose tissue to be destroyed with every pulse. It also allows treament of areas deeper than in previous models. But most importantly, it allows treatment more superficially (closer to the skin). This is the real breakthrough in my opinion because a lot of the finer sculpting that you get from Vaser and in high-definition Vaser is because of the latter's ablitity to remove superficial fat. And now, for the first time we can non-surgically and very comfortable destroy fat deposits close to the skin with an external non-invasive body contouring treatment - the new Ultrashape.
There are many non-invasive body sculpting devices in the market that work to varying degrees. What sets the 3rd generation Ultrashape apart from the rest is that it is able to very safely and comfortably treat the fat layers from very deep to right up close to the skin. All without surgery, so there's no bruising, swelling or post operative recovery.
Clinical studies have shown that Ultrashape gives lasting results, with circumference reductions ranging from 4cm to 10cm following 3 treatments. The areas that benefit most from Ultrashape are the belly, the flanks (love-handles) and the outer and inner thighs.
Adanced Tracking and Guiding System
The tracking and guidance system in Ultrashape is itself a marvel of technology. Human bodies have complex curves. And in order to send in the ultrasound energy evenly over our bodies' contours, Ultrashape incorporates a unique 3D mapping system to optimally and uniformly guide the treatment of the targeted areas. This tracking and guidance system monitors and synchronises patient position in real time. So if the patient moved during the treatment, it would instantly re-calculate the distribution of the spots for treatment.
Safety
Non-Thermal
Pulses of ultrasound energy are delivered to converge at a point inside the fat layer. This then causes a mechanical disruption of the fat cells. No heat is produced. It selectively disrupts only fat cells. Histological studies confirms fat cell disruption while surrounding structures remain unaffected. The focused ultrasound is not the same as other ultrasound used ultrasonic cavitation devices. It does not generate heat so there is no risk of skin burns.
The Tracking and Guiding System
The guiding and tracking system works like a 3D GPS system to guide the operator over all the curves of the treatment areas, thus ensure even coverage. Also because of the advanced guiding and tracking system, rregularities that one sometimes gets with liposuction is completely prevented.
Natural Clearance of Fats
The fat cell contents once released is cleared naturally from the tissue spaces and transported to the liver to be processed as fuel. The metabolic pathways for this fat clearance is naturally occuring. It handles the released fats as if in weight loss. And there is a lot of reserve capacity. Clinical studies have shown that triglycerides relaesed following Ultrashape treatment does not accumulate to any clinically significant extent in the blood stream or the liver.
