Vaser HD, aka High Definition Liposuction is a form of Vaser liposuction, where shadows and curves are deliberately created during liposuction to give the impression of muscular definition. To give the impression that the person is fit and athletic. Various methods of power-assisted liposuction like Vaser, Microaire and Water-jet can be used to achieve high-definition liposuction, this particular method was invented by the creators of the Vaser technology. Hence it is also called Vaser HD.
David Loh Aesthetic is an aesthetic clinic that is MOH accredited to perform office based liposuction. Dr David Loh also operates at a day Surgery in Novena. Vaser HD is normally performed in operating theatre with an anaesthetist to administer sedation. The recovery time is not much more than non-high definition liposuction. The long term determination to keep lean after Vaser HD should also be the same as with normal liposuction.
NB: This is not the same as “etching” of the skin other liposuction techniques.

About the procedure
Both men and women who are reasonably fit are suitable for Liposuction HD. But success is seen most in otherwise gym-fit individuals and in those with moderate amounts of subcutaneous fat.
The gym-fit criteria is because then one can continue to exercise and maintain the muscular definition. Often, Vaser HD gives one the motivation to go back to the gym again, after some years of neglect. And a renewed quest for body beautiful.
Our Founder
Dr. David Loh founded David Loh Surgery in 2002, during the early days of Aesthetic Medicine. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the National University of Singapore and has over 30 years of clinical experience, with more than 20 years dedicated to aesthetics.
Dr Loh is Accredited by MOH to perform liposuction. He is best known as an international trainer for BTX and Dermal Fillers. He has published extensively on injection techniques and the management of serious complications, with one of his papers awarded a Gold Medal by the PRS Global Journal. His contributions to the field include serving as the immediate past President of the Society of Aesthetic Medicine in Singapore.
